Accessibility

Disabled Parking

The main car park is the multi-storey at Stobcross Road, G3 8GS, which is operated by Glasgow City Council. The car park is open 24 hours and has designated disabled blue badge parking bays and payment of the car park tariff is required before you exit. Designated car parking bays cannot be reserved for individual use. However, if you are interested in a long-term parking arrangement, please contact 0141 287 2000 or email directly at carparkinfo@glasgow.gov.uk.

The carpark has an accessible walkway attached that takes you directly to the campus. Lifts are available to gain access to each level of the carpark as well as for exiting and entering the carpark walkway making it fully accessible at all ends.

The total distances from the multi-storey carpark to SEC Centre Hall 5 is 307m.

Wheelchair access

The venue is easily accessible for visitors with mobility difficulties and accessibility needs.

Facilities

Food & Drink
There will be catering options available in the event hall, as well as permanent restaurants on the concourse.

 

Cash Machine

There are two ATMs on the concourse (next to the Box Office) of the SEC Centre.

SEC venues operate a cashless system. They will only accept contactless or card payments at their box office, food & drink outlets, merchandise sales points and cloakroom.

Low Emission Zone Charge
If you’re driving to the SEC via the City Centre you may be subject to a charge, so please check your route and vehicle compliance before travelling. For more information see www.glasgow.gov.uk/LEZ

The SEC (Scottish Event Campus) is conveniently situated for motorists, just off the M8 motorway and with plenty of parking.

The SEC has its own dedicated railway station – Exhibition Centre – allowing easy access from the city centre and suburbs. There are six trains an hour (around every 10 minutes) from Glasgow Central station, departing from Platform 17 (low level).

Bag Check

Suitcases and large rucksacks are permitted into the venue but should be checked into the Cloakroom. All bags may be subject to searching so please allow plenty of time for extra security measures.

Smoking

The SEC have implemented a strict no smoking or vaping policy within the venue. Designated smoking shelters are conveniently located outside the venues.

Storage

On-site Cloakroom

There is a cloakroom in the West lobby of the SEC Centre. Visitors can deposit items for the duration of the event for £3 per item, per day.

WiFi

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the venue.

Under 18's Policy

Space-Comm Expo is a professional trade show and for insurance purposes, we are unable to permit any under 18s onsite.
