Tom Walkinshaw is the Founder and CEO of Alba Orbital Inc and has grown the company from his bedroom to a new 5000 sq ft manufacturing facility. He is an Alumni of Y Combinator and was the 1st Scottish based company to take part in the program. He has raised $3.4m in investment alongside many millions in customer and government contracts. He has launched 41 satellites into space over 7 launches with both SpaceX and Rocketlab. Tom is a pioneer of the PocketQube satellite form factor and setup and runs the annual developer conference for the standard.
