Speakers

Prof Peter Hunter

Professor, Scotland's International Environment Centre. University of Stirling

Speaker profile

Prof Hunter is delivering pioneering research on the development, validation and application of methodologies for processing, analysing and visualising data from drones, aircraft and satellites with recent emphasis on the integration of these data with observations from wireless sensor networks, citizen scientists and ecosystem models. This work is not only delivering pioneering insights on the condition of ecosystems, and the pressures that act upon them, but also operational and potentially marketable tools and services capable of transforming approaches to environmental management, regulation and evidence-based policy-formation.
