John is the CEO of Dorsai Special Engineering Projects Ltd. a specialist consultancy he set up on his retirement from the defence and aerospace industry, where he held senior management and engineering roles in both BAE Systems and Leonardo UK.

John is also a Professor in Cyber Security at Lancaster University and a Royal Society Entrepreneur in Residence.

John chaired Space Scotland for over five years from its creation and spin-off from the ADMS Industry Leadership Group and is now a strong advocate for Space 2.0, the rapid expansion of the space sector to meet the demands of the emerging extraterrestrial space economy.
