Mark is a Group Commander within the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service with over 19 year’s experience. Mark started his career as a firefighter at East Kilbride Fire Station before moving to Motherwell Fire Station and progressing through the ranks to Watch Commander. Mark then moved into the Response & Resilience Directorate where he was the author of various policies and procedures which have been published nationally. Mark has also written guidance for National Operational Guidance which has been published throughout the UK. Mark has progressed through the ranks from Station to Group Commander and now leads the Resilience and Directorate Support team.
