Holger Kastler advises clients on IT law matters, including cybersecurity, and licensing of open source software. He also advises on strategic and contractual aspects of technical IP and property rights, such as patents, technical know-how and trade secrets. His expertise is drafting and negotiating complex technology agreements. He is valued for his holistic approach encompassing strategic, and commercial aspects in addition to the legal advice on technology projects. Holger is further experienced in all kind of patent litigation matters, especially in the IT and Industrials sector.

Holger’s clients are established technology companies facing challenges digitalizing their businesses as well as younger companies in the IT and Space Tech / New Space industry launching new digital products or developing new ways of commercializing their IP assets.

He leads the Space group in Germany, which is part of the international Space Exploration and Innovation (SEI) group, in which Holger also plays a key role.
