Angela Mathis, CEO and co-founder of ThinkTank Maths Limited (Edinburgh) and its daughter company in Norway – ThinkTank Maths Norge AS. https://thinktankmaths.com/
Founded in 2008 the company creates situational awareness Mathematical frameworks (software) to solve wicked challenges to assure safety, security and sustainability in near orbital Space, and to enable the Energy Transition.
Angela is on the advisory committees of UK Space – Space Domain Awareness Working Group, and GNOSIS – the Global Network of Sustainability in Space.
She and her colleagues at ThinkTank Maths contribute to NATO’s MSG-187 Working Group for Space Weather Environmental Modeling (SWEM).
A member of Space Scotland and the Space Environmental Task Force, where she contributes to the ‘Scotland Sustainable Space Roadmap’.
Vice President of the Scottish Energy Forum Angela is on the Board of this national forum for the presentation and discussion of views on the economic, industrial, technological and political aspects of all forms of energy.
Angela served 5 years on the Scottish Science Advisory Council (SSAC), advising the Scottish Government on science related policies and legislation.
