Speaker profile

Joanne has a background in industrial research and technical and commercial management.  Her role at Durham University as Senior Business Development Manager for the Space Sector is to work with academic staff to develop collaborations with external partners.  Durham University’s new Space Research Centre is an internationally recognised hub of excellence in Space Research. Our vision encompasses not only the pursuit of cutting edge technologies but also the holistic understanding of space and its broader societal, ethical, and environmental aspects.
