Andrew Peebles is the External Relations Officer for the UN Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA), responsible for communications and partnerships with UN Member States, supporting the UNOOSA Director Aarti Holla-Maini with diplomatic engagement, and mobilising donor funding.
Before joining the United Nations, he worked for the United Kingdom Mission to the UN, covering the inter-governmental Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS), the Hague Code against Ballistic Missile Proliferation (HCOC), arms export controls (Wassenaar Arrangement), and transnational organised crime at the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). He has held several positions in the UK Delegation to the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). He has an MA in European Interdisciplinary Studies from the College of Europe.
